Distinguished Alumnus Award
Recognizes an individual of merit and distinction. Nomination criteria include: career/business affiliations and position titles, professional interests and accomplishments, Morrisville State College involvement and leadership since graduation, voluntary contributions to society, honors/awards (professional/community/collegiate), and nominator's narrative of endorsement. The award is presented during Mustang Weekend. Deadline for nominations is September 1.
Athletic Wall of Fame
Criteria for nominating an individual are as follows:
An athlete must have departed the campus at least five years prior to selection. An athlete must have earned at least one or two varsity awards in one sport or one varsity award in two sports at Morrisville State College.
A coach, athletic administrator or special contributor must have lettered at Morrisville State College or served the college for at least ten years. She or he must have retired or no longer be employed by the college.
Nominations must include verification of the above criteria, and should consist of information regarding the individual's contributions to Morrisville State College athletics. Supporting information may include newspaper clippings, copies of certificates, letters of recommendation and other items pertinent to the nominee's athletic experience at the college. There is no limit to the number of times an individual may be nominated. The athletic record of accomplishment of the individual must be such that there is no question as to the individual's qualifications for Wall of Fame induction.
Inductees will be honored during the Annual Night of Champions Alumni Reception. Nominations must be submitted to the Morrisville State College Alumni/Development Office, 101
Bailey Hall, Morrisville, NY, 13408, no later than April 1.
Faculty/Staff Applied Research Grant Program
This program is designed to improve the quality of education for students by providing faculty members with funding sources to conduct applied research related to classroom instruction. Applications must be submitted no later than May 1 for full consideration.
Winning projects will be announced at the end-of-year faculty meeting. Research is to be completed by May 1 of the following year, and a full report to the Alumni Ambassadors by the grant recipient is required at the Annual Alumni Ambassadors meeting in May.

Legacy Scholarship Awards
Awarded to full-time students with parent(s)/guardian(s) or grandparent(s) who are alumni of Morrisville State College. Awards are presented at the Legacy Luncheon during Welcome Days. Applications must be submitted by July 15 for full consideration.
Outstanding Faculty/Staff/Emeriti Award
Recognizes a noteworthy professional. Nomination criteria include: degree(s), vocation description, titles, offices, and honors. The award is presented during Mustang Weekend. Deadline for nominations is September 1.
